Farmers Department Store - Show us you use ethical practices in your clothing production

We would like Farmers to commit to participating in the 2018 Ethical Fashion Report to prove to customers they use ethical practices in the production of the clothing they sell.

Why is this important?

In the 2017 Ethical Fashion Report https://www.tearfund.org.nz/Get-Involved/Ethical-Fashion-Guide.aspx, Farmers received an F rating. Farmers chose not to be part of the report and had no publicly available information on their supply chain with regards to worker rights, policies and practices. This is concerning because when consumers buy clothing from Farmers, they do not know if the people making the garments are being treated fairly or working in safe conditions.
