To coincide with our final exhibition, our annual fundraiser for 2024, we are inviting artists, creatives and alike to come and celebrate with us and put in submissions. KILL THE BILL! 

About your hosts
The Physics Room is a contemporary art space dedicated to developing and promoting contemporary art and critical discourse in Aotearoa New Zealand. Based in central Ōtautahi Christchurch since 1996, we assist art practitioners with resources and opportunities to enable professional and creative development, and work to support the acknowledgement and understanding of contemporary art among New Zealanders. Our goal is to actively seek links between the arts and other areas of cultural production and to involve art as a contributing voice in wider intellectual, social and political debate.
We acknowledge Ngāi Tūāhuriri iwi as mana whenua of this takiwā and as the rightful custodians of the land on which we stand.

What to expect
The Physics Room Annual Fundraiser directly supports our exhibition programming and helps us to continue developing contemporary practice in Aotearoa. We will have a computer setup for you to put in your submission. It's a celebration we will have a bbq and bevies, music and some art for sale.
